Professional Duties and Responsibilities:
In 2003-2006, as Adviser to the Mayor of Warsaw, responsible for managing the project related to the estimation of Warsaw's losses in WW2 and reviewing legal foundations for any claims related to those losses.
In 1995-2003 worked at various positions in the Industrial Chemistry Research Institute, supervised and managed maintenance of the technical infrastructure of many buildings and installations at the Institute's site (Rydygiera Str.). Supervised tenders for renovation works and investment projects, various mechanical, electrical and installation works. Responsible for administration of some 40 buildings and the 24-acre site, running the chancellery and archives of the Institute. In 1996-2000 also supervised the experimental and low-volume production at the Institute.
In 1990-1994 served as Mayor of the Warsaw Żoliborz District. Managed the work of the Board of the District. The district was responsible for various public administration and utility functions at the local level, in line with the local government regulations. The District had more than 350 staff working in several units, including Community Building Administration, libraries, childcare, Social Assistance Center, Cultural Center and Municipal Police.
In 1977-1990 undertaking various research projects in the Industrial Chemistry Research Institute focusing on polyurethane technologies. Co-author of several patents and many publications in Polish science and technical journals.
